Garbage Warrior

Just finished up watching the documentry "Garbage Warrior" in an effort to become a bit more clued in on the topic our group has chosen. It follows the story of Mike Reynolds, the architect who invented the 'Earthship' as he struggles with the limitations of building codes etc. It's was very sad to see how much resistance he faced when all he is trying to do is better humanity and preserve the earth for future generations.

This past week I have been very busy with my personal life but I am hoping to now try and commit a good amount of my time to this project. Firstly though I need to figure out my place in the group. Out of everyone I am probably the least passionate about this subject so I don't have that driving me like the others. Hopefully after some more discussion with the group it will be come more clear who needs to be doing what at this crucial time. I am going to start out by looking a bit more into Earthships and into the more technical side of this project (the interactive w/ motion graphics etc.), going to have a look at some examples of similar interactives and do a little research one the capabilities of InDesign CS5.5.
