Page Designs

We all decided to come into class on thursday to work on the page designs. With what limited time we have left I am very glad we the group decided to do this and everyone seems to be pulling there weight. Here is some of the page designs we came up with in photoshop:

 Before monday I need to put together a few shots of the pages being animated using after effects. These will be all joined together to make a short preview of how the e-mag will look an operate when completed.

Final stretch

This monday it really felt like we worked together well as a team for a change, everyone is right into this idea and we all have a good idea of what we're doing. Me and Justin dived into photoshop and started working on the page designs, figuring out which colour scheme and fonts we wanted. We've divided what page designs needed to be done between us so we can get all the page designs before monday where we will combine them together in a video. Me and Justin will do a bit of motion graphics in after effects to animate the pages slightly and show how the interactive will behave when it is finished.

The 'Earthship' in a nutshell

 

In a nutshell an earthship is a fully sustainable household made of materials that would usually just completely go to waste (such as tires and bottles). The house has no electricity going into it, no water pipes and it regulates it's own temperature, harnessing the power of the sun All water is supplied from rain that is caught by the house and is then recycled.Basically this house is built so you can be completely self sustainable and not need any help from the outside world.
